In 2014 I was tasked with redesigning OPI.com (after this redesign their Digital IQ Index went from “Feeble” and “Challenged” to “Gifted”, improving their market rank by 54%). Again in 2017 with a new Digital Director onboard at OPI, my team and I were tasked with redesigning OPI.com, and adding ecommerce (up to that point OPI had not sold products through their site).

- Converting a complex Drupal CMS into something that operates more like a commerce site
- Amazon integration for ecommerce components
- Develop more of a lifestyle brand experience on the site
- Design the site with localization in mind across all international OPI territories
The simplicity of the mobile layouts drove the UX for this project.
Working directly with the client, and reviewing user data from the previous iteration of the site, I developed new wireframes for a set of key site templates that controlled much of the content. I then developed new UI design direction, iterating with the client until approval.
Once the design was established I managed my own design and dev team to build out the rest of the user interface for the site and the Amazon Commerce integration.
