Micro-donations for the Enterprise

Overview

At ChangeUp, we set out to modernize charitable giving, which has been siloed in standalone fundraising events like bake sales and bike rides where donors write paper checks and the charities spend a ratio of 40 cents to acquire one dollar. ChangeUp builds the technology that integrates donations into the colossal, everyday flow of commerce.

Objective

Develop a next-generation Donation Management System (DMS) that streamlines the creation, deployment, and management of donate-at-checkout smart widgets. Leveraging a React front-end and ChangeUp APIs, the platform was designed to provide a more flexible, scalable solution based on real-world learnings. The goal was to empower organizations with an intuitive admin interface, seamless integration capabilities, and a robust analytics suite to optimize donation performance and engagement.

My Role

Senior Product Designer & UX Strategist
  • Led UX/UI design for the DMS, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
  • Developed a scalable design system for consistent user experiences across modules.
  • Created documentation and user guides for onboarding and knowledge base.
  • Worked closely with engineering and C-Suite to ensure a seamless customer experience.
